It was my first time here and I absolutely enjoyed the food. We had the calamari as appetizer and I had my Server Laura suggest an entree. Oh my god, that was insanely delicious. It was shrimp and scallop with mashed potatoes and spinach. It was absolutely delicious. Definitely going to be back. Our server Laura was so amazing. She also suggested the calamari and it was good.
Was on a business trip, dropped by and the waitress at the bar was awesome. Some of the best seafood over ever had. Shrimp platter ????
I’ve tried time and time again to give this place a chance. This time was the final straw. The service always lacking but typically the food will at least somewhat make up for it. Today I didn’t even make it to the food. Heck I didn’t even get greeted. Met my dad there for dinner, walked in and sat at the bar where someone had previously been sitting, their old drink and laid out tab was sitting on the bar top. When we sit down, the bartender looks over and notices us but continues his business without as much as a head nod. We waited for about 5 or 6 minutes as we watched him do his business, helping other customers but again not even so much as saying what’s up to us, much less cleaning up the small mess in front of us. We ended up walking out and letting the hostess know what happened, she also looked as if she couldn’t care less and didn’t offer up even an “I’m sorry about that”.. just sad honestly and a huge disappointment. As someone who worked in the service industry for 7 years I can sympathize with the struggles. But there was not a single valid excuse in this case. Will absolutely not be back. Which I’m sure they’re fine with.
It had been a few months since I had been in and I was shocked at all of the negative reviews as my experiences ( 20 plus visits) had consistently been positive. We ordered the fish and chips and the blackened chicken sandwich. There was no tartar sauce and no lemons. The amount of fries was maybe half of the usual quantity. What shocked me though was the itty bitty size of the chicken breast. It used to hang outside of the bun...literally. Tonight it was maybe half the size it used to be... think chicken sandwich from a burger joint,MINUS 20%. Food quality was decent, at best. What a huge disappointment. I'm not sure what's happened to this place?Covid reasons?New management? Not sure.The only positive experience was the sweet bartender that took my order. But not even her great attitude would warrant another visit.What a shame.
