Very disappointed with the system they installed in 2020 completely failing in 2025, and both the high price they charge for "labor" to repair it as well along with it taking well over a month to repair (failed 11/21, attempted to repair 12/10 after waiting 3 weeks for a part, and as of 12/26 it is still not repaired). The warranty covers parts for 10 years but not labor, and strategically for them, their labor rates are for warranty work are very high - charging me between $4300 for repair labor on a system where all equipment/install/everything was $6900 new. See details below: I purchased an entirely new Carrier HVAC system for our upstairs in 2020 - new AC, furnace, plenums, pad, everything (total price was $6915). That install came with a 10 year parts and 1 year labor warranty. On November 21st of this year (only 5 years old), it stopped working and apparently needed a new outside coil. In spite of being under the parts warranty, they still charged me $2406 for "labor" to replace the coil - about 2 hours of work for 2 people. It also took 3 weeks for them to get the coil, so it was a non-functioning AC until December 10th. After that December 10th "repair", as soon as I used the "fixed" AC on December 22nd (did not use during 12 days of cooler weather), the system still did not work and now needs a new compressor and several other items, which they want to charge me another $1911 to do that work. They also don't have the parts for that, so those are now on order too and there is no ETA on when my system might be repaired. So all in all, it has been since November 21st that I had a functioning AC (it is now December 26th), they are charging me $4317 for "labor", and I still do not have any idea of when this unit will work again. All this for an AC that is only 5 years old and the entire system and install was $6915. When you hear about AC installs, people tell you the quality of the install is just as important as the equipment. I have attached a pic of the extremely poor job they did of installing the outside unit and new pad - it's not centered and hanging off of one side of the pad which makes it more prone to being damaged. If this simple aspect of the install was so obviously sloppy, there is no telling how sloppy the rest of the install was which is probably why I'm dealing with a unit that is malfunctioning after only 5 years. I am leaving a review for my mother Marie C. They were in to service on 1/29/26 on Bennington Dr. She is not able to leave a review because she does not have a google account nor a facebook account but wanted to give recognition to the young man who came out to service her unit. Daniel Medina was absolutely wonderful!!!! He gets an A++++++. She was very satisfied with the customer service as usual from your company and will not hesitate to recommend. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the company and tech Daniel Medina

Bryan came in and was extremely professional and checked out our system. He was very through with the inspection and didn't try to upset anything. Extremely transparent and even checked a few small things my wife was concerned about. 10/10 job

The technician Dan Thomas was very polite and seemed to be knowledgeable. He diagnosed my lack of heat problem as a faulty gas valve. He said he had to order the part which I hope comes quickly with our impending cold weather coming. I was very surprised that a reputable HVAC company did not carry an inventory of parts so a customer doesn’t have to wait for a repair. I was charged and paid the $99 diagnostic fee and the part was quoted to be around $450 which I will pay when the valve is installed. An update, Reliant promptly on Monday morning advised me that the part is not available from their normal suppliers and they are checking on sources in another region. Dan Thomas returned on Wednesday, 12/31, to replace the gas valve. My HVAC put hot air out for a couple of hours and then quit. I called Reliant and they sent another technician out on Friday, 1/2, and he said that the gas valve was defective. On Monday, 1/5, that technician, Dan Medina, returned and installed another gas valve. So far my unit is working great on 1/5. Dan was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
