Bought this from here. The same morning that I bought it, my young daughter asked if she could open and take drink some, I said sure. I heard her gagging, spitting and throwing up and she said the drink tasted horrible. I saw something floating it in. I took it back to the store and a staff member poured it out and this is what was inside. She was sick for the next couple of days. Since she drank this, she has been very leery about eating anything out of a bottle or can. We have never had issues with her being picky, but I honestly can’t blame her. We are all so grossed out. I was told that someone would reach out. They did, but I missed the call and I have been trying to return their call ever since to no avail. No answer and no return calls. Check your stuff that you buy from here, especially before your kids eat or drink any of it.
Tom Thumb is always one of my favorite grocery store and this Irving store is also provides an unique experience to it’s shoppers. The items are in stock and well organized. The produce section is fresh and the checkout line is not big. The price of items seems at par with its competitor. The seafood and meat section keeps fresh items. The staff is nice and ample parking outside.
I have literally been looking for years to find a certain salad dressing. I was to the point of thinking that this salad dressing Green Giddess was not being produced anymore...not true...Tom Thumb has it!! I bought two bottles when I bought my weekly groceries, and left very happy!!
Sam at the pharmacy was wonderful!! My little one wasn’t feeling well and we were out of state. The prescription was sent to a Walgreens but the only thing nearby was Tom Thumb the pharmacist took care of calling Walgreens and transferring the prescription right away. He was so so kind and helpful. Truly appreciate this man.
My go to grocery store since it’s right around the corner from us. Produce selection can be a little sparse sometime. But other than that, it’s your standard grocery store. Be sure to download the app and clip the coupons! You’ll get points which can be converted to a couple dollars off your total bill. Also, the pharmacy is great! They’re open until 9pm!
