A horrible experience from the get go! I stayed there a few nights ago and I arrived a few hours before check in so I had to pay $25 extra to check in to my room early, which wasn't a problem. But, then some 4.99 fee and a $25 refundable deposit that I was supposedly going to receive back as soon as I checked out and housekeeping checked the room. Still haven't received a single dollar back and when I called this morning to check on my refund, the employee there hung up on me. The staff is very rude and not helpful in any kind of way. The rooms were at least clean and the beds were comfortable. Other than that, the room was hot when I opened the door, there was hardly any extra anything (they give you a roll of toilet paper at the front desk when you check in) and the towels looked and smelled dirty. Horrible location! However, there is a Country Cafe at the same building of the front desk area and they served pretty decent food. Overall, probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! Save your money and find a different place to crash because this place freaking sucks!! Definitely won't get my deposit back now...
I was offered a better room that turned out to be clean but very no frills. It had refrigerator and microwave but nothing much else. Toiletries were minimal. No iron. Pillows that were rather flimsy. The best I could say is that the room was clean and bug free.
Close to the airport. No bible. The remote stopped working but there is excellent service such as guest laundry. There is a grocery store downstairs so highly recommend for long-term stays. A restaurant resides as well, everything you need is there.
The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life – Avoid at All Costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is beyond sketchy – every room reeks like someone has been chain-smoking in there for days. The sheets were full of stains, the mattress didn’t even have a proper cover, and the towels they provide are absolutely disgusting and stained. Do yourself a favor and bring your own if you ever end up here (though I strongly suggest you don’t). The room looked old, dirty, and in terrible condition overall. I booked through Hotels.com, and upon arrival, the manager – a rude man named Kalu – demanded a $25 security deposit. He offered me an “upgrade” and told me that if I accepted it, the deposit would be non-refundable. I agreed without seeing the room. Big mistake. The moment I walked into the room, I turned around and went straight back to the lobby. I told him I didn’t want to stay and wanted to cancel the reservation. He told me it was up to Hotels.com. When I called Hotels.com, they said the manager refused to approve the cancellation based on the hotel’s policy. I was forced to stay for 6 nights in this dump. When I asked for the $25 back for the so-called “upgrade,” he refused, even though it was clearly the same room category I had already paid for. Total scam. Kalu is unprofessional, extremely rude, and has no respect for guests or his own business. I had zero housekeeping in 6 days. No towel change, no room cleaning. On day 5, I called to request new towels. They took the used ones, washed them, and returned the same towels to me an hour and a half later. They don’t even have clean towels to provide. Unbelievable. This was hands down the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. You’re better off sleeping in your car than staying here. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the health hazard. This place is a straight-up scam. PS: on my last day I request a late check out, which is always free for 1hour at 99% of hotels. This scammers tried to charge me 30$ for and extra hour lol
This place is economy class. Get what you pay for. Working AC, Hot running water, TV and bed. Savers and Dollar store equivalent of motel. Based on the other reviews, I was worried about my deposit. But, I made a humble request during check out and they returned my deposit to the card, the next day. So, be nice to them and they will be nice to the customers.
